Michelle Johnston
Quality Care Co-ordinator
I joined Homestay Care in 2025 as a Quality Care Co-ordinator with a strong background in social care, complemented by earlier experience in finance and administration. Since entering the sector in 2018, I have developed a thorough understanding of both frontline care and the operational processes that underpin high-quality service delivery. My career progression from hands-on support work to an office-based role managing client records has enabled me to build extensive knowledge of compliance, documentation, and care standards, leading to my current focus on quality assurance and best practice. I have completed specialised training, including Train the Trainer qualifications in Medication and Moving & Handling, a Medication Prescriber course, and the Oliver McGowan programme, which support my ability to develop staff and promote safe, effective care. With strong organisational and IT skills, I am committed to maintaining high standards, supporting teams, and continuously improving outcomes within care services.
